Free Weekend Walks in the Woods for Families!

Join the Audubon Naturalist Society (http://www.audubonnaturalist.org/) for free family nature hikes guided by certified Maryland Master Naturalists beginning on Saturday, April 5 from 9-10 am!  Spring can be a busy time, so we invite you to take an hour out of your schedule to enjoy spending time with your family outdoors.  Guided hikes will take place on the first Saturday of each month from 9-10 am at beautiful Woodend Nature Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Each hike will have a unique and exciting natural history theme.  Programs are appropriate for family members of all ages and no registration is necessary.  Please come prepared to hike in sneakers and don’t forget your water bottle.
