Installation of Rector

Join St. Mark's Episcopal Church as we celebrate the installation of our new Priest, the Rev. Fr. Isaac Kojo Nyame Bonney as the Fourth Rector of St. Mark's.

The Reverend Father Isaac Kojo Nyame Hayford Bonney

was born and raised in Accra, Ghana. He immigrated to United States at the age
of twelve to join his parents who had settled in Chicago. In 2000, he earned
his undergraduate degrees at Wabash College in religion and philosophy.

Father Bonney was ordained as an Anglican 
deacon on January 23rd, 2005, and as priest on July 31st,

2005, in the Diocese of Accra by The Most Reverend Doctor Justice O. Akrofi;

Primate of the Church of the Province of West Africa and Bishop of Accra.



Father Bonney served as the Assistant Rector for
Youth and Young Adults for 8 years at the historic African Episcopal Church of
Saint Thomas in Philadelphia before being called to Saint Mark’s.
