Come to the Native
American Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Nov 16 -17, at Stone Fence
Gardens south of Thurmont. There will be authentic Apache dancers with singing
and drumming and sharing of their culture. Bring your drums for open drum
circles during part of the day. There will also be bonfire and a petting zoo
with goats and a pony. Come shop the craft vendors and sample home-made chili
and cornbread and other delicious treats. The Festival promises to be
educational and entertaining for all ages. Children 7 and under are free. Stone
Fence Gardens is just north of Frederick at Bethel and Mountaindale Roads.
