Origins Concert Series: Hub for Adventurous Music Seekers
Concert Combines Original and New Music with Favorite Classics

The Origins Concert Series presents Carrie Rose, flute; Daniele Lorio, soprano, and Patrick O’Donnell, piano.  

The program will include Seele, deine specereien by J. S. Bach;  Three Irish Folksong Settings by John Corigliano;  Eleven Sounds - World Premiere - by Carrie Rose;  Eve Songs by Jake Heggie; Ballade by Frank Martin;  Canzona by Samuel Barber;  and Toccata by Harry Freedman

About The Origins Concert Series
Each performance in the Origins Concert Series features a world premiere, presented alongside music from a variety of other time periods.  The series is a hub for adventurous music seekers who are excited to peer beyond the classical and popular music culture into new sonorities.  Yet they can enjoy basking in those familiar sonorities as well throughout the course of the concert.

Now in its fourth season, the Series is supported by a grant from the Arts and Humanities Commission of Montgomery County.
