Come celebrate the start of the Silver Spring Village, a nonprofit membership organization offering services and programs to residents in the 20910 zip code to help them "age in place."
Scheduled speakers include Stuart Rosenthal, chairman of the Maryland State Commission on Aging and publisher of the Beacon Newspaper and the Montgomery County Senior Resource Guide; Reemberto Rodriguez, director of the Silver Spring Regional Service, Peg Simpson, founder and former president of Dupont Circle Village; Roberta Gosier, Silver Spring Village president; and Mae Novak, Silver Spring Village vice president.
The event is free and open to the public.
