The main event is a huge raffle to benefit Friends of Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Behnke Nurseries in Beltsville.
Raffle drawing at 3:30, but you don't have to be present to win. Joining the festivities will be 9 area gardens clubs, 6 plant societies and many vendors. Bring a labeled plant (before 11:00) for the Plant Swap at 11:30 - bring one, take one. Master Gardeners to answer your gardening questions and free garden talks every half hour.
