Community Clinic Moves Headquarters, Health Clinic to Downtown Silver Spring

A network of clinics for uninsured and underinsured patients has moved its headquarters to downtown Silver Spring.

Community Clinic Inc. serves people in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties with facilities in Silver Spring, as well as in Germantown, Gaithersburg, Wheaton, Takoma Park and Greenbelt. The nonprofit leased 14,387-square-feet of space at 630 Fenton St. that will include the company's headquarters and a new Silver Spring clinic. 

The company already has moved 20 employees into half of its new space as it transitions from a smaller headquarters in Rockville. The other half is being built out into a clinic and will open in November, according to the clinic's website.

The current Silver Spring clinic is located downtown at 8210 Colonial Lane. The new clinic will house five physicians and is expected to serve about 2,000 patients each month.
