Why go: Today is your last chance to see Brookside Gardens’ annual Garden of Lights before it closes for Christmas! Brookside Gardens will reopen on Tuesday.

Where/When: 9900 Stoneybrook Drive in Kensington at the Washington D.C. Mormon Temple, Friday, Dec. 23 – Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
Why go: More than 500,000 lights illuminate one of the more interesting buildings in the area. Enjoy nightly concerts featuring local performers each evening at 7 p.m. in the Visitor’s Center.
