Springbrook Senior Selling T-Shirt Design at H&M Stores Nationwide

Silver Spring student Santiago Romero came up with this slogan to win a national contest. His T-shirt is being sold in H&M stores across the country.

A senior at Springbrook High School in Silver Spring create the winning slogan in a national competition, and his effort is being sold at H&M clothing stories across the country.

Santiago Romero whose slogan, “Success is My Addiction,” won first place in a national advertising competition sponsored by retail clothing chain H&M and Mentor Foundation.

 Romero entered the national slogan contest through his marketing class, says Montgomery Community Media. The contest was sponsored by the Swedish company that owns the H&M retail stores as part of the Mentor Foundation’s National Drug Facts Day.

Romero’s slogan was chosen from more than 86,000 entries. The T-shirt is already available for sale in stores and on the H&M website.

He was honored at the Swedish Embassy Jan. 30. H&M also funded a day of interactive activities at the embassy for 50 Springbrook marketing students.
