Good morning, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know this Wednesday to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:
1. Today should be mostly sunny and breezy, with temperatures near 43 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, should be mostly clear, with a low around 25.
2. Whole Foods Market located at 833 Wayne Ave. is hosting a food tasting. The food sampled varies from cheeses, fresh seafood and salad from the deli. It starts at 12 p.m.

3. The Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board's Transportation & Pedestrian Safety Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. The board is responsible for improving transportation capacity, promoting traffic safety, pedestrian access among other duties.
4. Like the hiphop group The Roots? They play tomorrow tonight at the Fillmore Silver Spring.The show starts at 8 p.m.
