Where/When: The station opens from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.

2. RESOURCE FAIR FOR MILLITARY PERSONNEL

Where/When: The County's Commission on Veterans Affairs, Easter Seals of the Greater Washington-Baltimore Region and White Flint Mall invite all active duty, reserve military, veterans and their families to attend a FREE Resource Fair. The event on Saturday, Nov. 5 located at 11301 Rockville Pike in Kensington at 11 a.m.

Why go: Several local organizations will be on-site to provide information on resources available to military personnel and their families..

3. MEET THE MOXIE MOTIVATOR

Where/When: The talk takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Metamorphosis Boutique located at 811 Wayne Ave. between 1:00 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Why go:  Come to learn more from Margaret Dureke, a motivational speaker.

4. THE WASHINGTON MUSICA CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT SERIES

Where/When: Nov. 4, Takoma Park Community Center, 7500 Maple Ave.
