Armed Robbery Suspects Wanted in Silver Spring

Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest of the suspects responsible for this robbery.

Montgomery County Police are seeking the public’s help in finding two suspects wanted for armed robbery.

On Friday, March 9 about 10:30 p.m. police officers responded to a call at the intersection of Colesville Road and Second Avenue, according to a police press release.

An initial investigation revealed that the victim was walking along Second Avenue when she was approached by two men. One of the suspects threatened her with a handgun and demanded her property, police said.

After she complied, both suspects fled toward the Silver Spring Metro station, according to police.

Recently, officials tracked her stolen credit card to a local business after it was used to make a purchase.

Both suspects are described as black males, in their early to mid-20’s, standing between 5 feet and 7 inches tall and 5 feet and 9 inches tall, with a medium build.
