Police Release Photo of Bank Robbery Suspect

Police released on Thursday a photo of a man whom they suspect robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Silver Spring on Tuesday.

Montgomery County police released on Thursday a surveillance photo of a man whom they suspect robbed a Silver Spring bank earlier this week, the county's police department reported.

At about 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 8701 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring. Implying that he had a weapon, the suspect demanded cash, received an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank, police said.

The man last was seen running on Fenwick Lane, police added.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment for this felony crime. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
