Beltway Accident Injures One; Slows Afternoon Traffic
The accident was between the Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road exits.
A two-car collision that sent one person to the hospital also slowed traffic down Friday afternoon, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue (MCFR) Spokesman Capt. Oscar Garcia.
Emergency vehicles were dispatched about 12:26 p.m. on the inner loop of the Beltway between Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road exits for a report of an accident, he added.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
