For more than 40 years I have lived near Rt 29 north of White Oak and have never seen water accumulate on the roadway in the area where Rt 29 crosses Paint Branch. The bridge over Paint Branch is quite high about the stream. The area along Rt 29 that HAS flooded after major storms is near the WSSC pumping station SOUTH of White Oak and near Trader Joe's.

You are absolutely correct about rt 29 at the NW branch. I have lived here 12 years and the water has topped the bridge at least twice. I wonder if they've made a mistake about the location.
