Missing Silver Spring Woman is Home Safe

Sibion Alicia Grant, 39, was last seen on January 26 around 7:30 p.m.

Sibion Alicia Grant, 39, has been located and his safe at home, according to Montgomery County police officials.

Grant disappeared about a month ago from her home located on the 400 block of Waterford Road.

Grant's family thanks the community for their support.

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Silver Spring woman who suffers from a mental illness, according to Montgomery County Police officials.

Sibion Alicia Grant, 39, was last seen a week ago at her home located on the 400 block of Waterford Road, according to a press release by police. Family members have not heard from her since January 26.

Grant is described as a black woman standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, a rose tattoo on the right side of her stomach and multiple piercings in both ears, according the release. She may also be wearing a light blue “Hello Kitty” shirt, blue jeans, and blue Newport shoes.

Family members say that Grant may not have identification with her and is not taking her medication. Approaching her is discouraged, they added.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is being asked to call the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
