Have You Seen This Man? He's Wanted for a Silver Spring Attempted Robbery

A woman told police that a man grabbed her by the neck and demanded her necklace.

Montgomery County police want your help finding the suspect in a Silver Spring strong-arm robbery reported a month ago.

A woman told police that she was grabbed around the neck by a man and ordered to give up her necklace on Tuesday, Sept. 11. She told police that the suspect followed her off of a Metrobus near the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive, in the White Oak neighborhood.

After being grabbed, the victim said she screamed and fought off the man, who then ran towards Stewart Lane without getting anything from her.

Detectives have released a composite photograph of the suspect. They are asking anyone who might know him to call them at 301-565-5835.

Here's a tip: if you're going to try and rob someone for a $20 necklace (and fail), don't have such an obvious identifying mark as tattoos under your eyes. This bozo will be caught within the week.
