UPDATED: Man Found Dead in Driveway, Second Critically Injured by Gunshot

A man was found dead in a Norbeck neighborhood driveway Monday night after police responded to calls of shots fired in the area. A $10,000 reward is being offered for leads in the case.

Following a report of gunshots fired in the Norbeck area Monday night, Montgomery County police found one man dead in a driveway and a second man turned up at a local hospital, critically injured with a gunshot wound.

About 10:30 p.m. Monday, officers were called for a report of shots fired on Laughlin Lane, The Washington Post reports. At the scene police found a man dead in the driveway, with trauma to his body. And at roughly the same time another man went to a nearby hospital with a serious gunshot injury.

The subject is in critical condition at a local hospital, police said Tuesday afternoon. Detectives believe his injuries are a result of the event at Laughlin Lane, and investigators are waiting to speak with him.

There is no word on possible suspects, or a motive in the homicide., says WUSA TV.

Detectives are interviewing other people who were in the house at the time of the crime to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, police said.
