Man Robbed Behind Silver Spring International Middle School
The robber used two guns, although one was later found to be an air pistol, police said.
Montgomery County police are still searching for the man responsible for an armed robbery that took place last week near the Silver Spring International Middle School at 313 Wayne Ave.
A man was walking behind the school on Tuesday, July 16, at 10:35 p.m. when another man approached him, produced a black handgun and demanded cash, according to a police report.
When the first man said he did not have any cash, the robber pulled out a second handgun and pointed it at the man. The robber then grabbed the man's backpack and fled with it, police said.
Police later found the backpack nearby, along with one of the guns, which was later determined to be an air pistol.
