Maryland State Police Say Beltway Accident Cleared
A three-vehicle accident shut down four lanes on the innerloop of I-495, officials say.
An early morning accident shut down four lanes on the inner loop of the beltway during the morning rush hour Friday, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue (MCFR) Capt. Oscar Garcia.
At about 8:46 a.m., MCFR officials were dispatched to the three-vehicle accident approaching Georgia Avenue to assist two people who were injured, he added.
Police have not identified the two injured, but Garcia said they were sent to area hospitals for a non-life threatening injuries.
