Missing Silver Spring Teen: Mignon Boyd

Police: 16-year-old girl was last seen Tuesday.

Montgomery County police are searching for Mignon Boyd, 16, who went missing Tuesday.

Boyd, of the 2000 block of Marlow Farm Terrace in Silver Spring, was last seen at Paint Branch High School, 14121 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville, around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Mignon is described as an African-American female, approximately 5 foot 7 inches and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and long, black hair with burgundy highlights worn in thick individual braids. She has pierced ears and wears an earring on her upper right ear.

Mignon frequently uses the bus for transportation, police said in a news release. She is known to visit stores, such as Target and Chipotle, in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road and stores in the White Oak Shopping Center.

Police and family are concerned for Mignon’s welfare because she has not contacted family.
