Missing Silver Spring Woman Found Unharmed

Margie Lee Brown, of Springvale Road, was last known to be at her home on Thursday, April 12.

Update (April 14, 10:30 p.m.): Margie Lee Brown, of the 8600 block of Springvale Road in Silver Spring, has been located safe and unharmed in Washington, DC, according to Montgomery County police. 

Original post (April 14, 4:23 p.m.): Montgomery County detectives are searching for a 69-year-old Silver Spring woman who suffers from dementia.

Margie Lee Brown, of the 8600 block of Springvale Road, was last known to be at her home on Thursday, April 12, according to a police statement.

Brown is a black female, approximately 5 feet tall and 150 pounds. She wears a black or brown wig and has brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light blue turtleneck sweater, light blue jeans and gray sneakers. She is believed to have left the area on foot. Brown is originally from Washington, DC, according to the police statement.
