Montgomery County police released photos of the men who robbed a TD Bank in Germantown last week and are now saying that the same men may have robbed a SunTrust Bank at a Silver Spring Safeway on Wednesday.

Police sent out images from surveillance footage Thursday with hopes of identifying the men. Police said they think the robberies are connected based on how the robberies were carried out.

Police said the robbers were black males. One had a muscular build and wore a gray T-shirt, black pants and a dark-colored baseball hat with a light-colored brim during the Silver Spring robbery.

The other man, police said, is bald with a medium build. He wore a black Under Armour T-shirt and dark-colored pants during the Silver Spring robbery.
