Potomac Man Dies After Car Accident in Burtonsville

A Potomac man died Wednesday at Suburban Hospital from injuries sustained after a car collision in Burtonsville, according to Montgomery County Police's 3rd District.

Two drivers, Ali Hyder of the 10800 block of Balantre Lane in Potomac and Vincent Subramanuam of the 14200 block of Cribbage Terrace in Colesville, collided at the intersection of Sandy Spring Road and Dino Drive in Burtonsville on Monday. Fire personal responded to the accident at approximately 1:25 p.m. Hyder was rushed to Suburban in Bethesda, but he later died of his injuries.

Blanca Kling, a representative for the police department, could not confirm whether Subramanuam was being charged with criminal activity. Kling said the department is still investigating the accident, a process that could take months.
