Silver Spring Woman Missing Since Aug. 30

Police ask public for help, family says they are concerned for her emotional well-being.

Police say a 34-year-old Silver Spring woman hasn't been seen by family since Thursday, Aug. 30. 

Aster Solomon Gesesse,  of the 800 block of Houston Avenue, was last seen leaving her home in a taxi, but family didn't know where she was going and expressed concern for her emotional well-being, police report. 

Gesesse is described as a black woman, about 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. Her family says she has long, brown hair and brown eyes. They don't know what she was wearing when she left her home.
