Photos Released of Suspects in Armed Robbery of Exxon on Fenton Street

After casing the store one day last November, one man returned with two others—and handguns—to commit the crime.

Police released photos Thursday of three suspects in a Nov. 14 Silver Spring gas station armed robbery.

The robbery took place at the Exxon gas station at 8301 Fenton St. Earlier in the day, a man went into the gas station, looked around and left without buying anything. A little while later, he returned with two other men to commit the robbery, police reported.

Of the three men, two had handguns. They all demanded two cashiers open the cash registers and safe. Two of the men took money from the cash registers while the third took money from the safe, police said.
