Two People Injured in Beltway 8-Vehicle Crash
The crash occurred going eastbound on the Inner Loop Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Updated, 4 p.m. A Maryland State Police spokeswoman said that all lanes on the Beltway have reopened and that the vehicles involved have been towed.
Two people were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an 8-vehicle crash on Interstate 495 Wednesday afternoon, according to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesman.
The crash occurred on the eastbound Inner Loop of the Beltway, near University Boulevard, Assistant Chief Scott Graham said.
