Woman Injured in Silver Spring Hit-and-Run
News outlets report that a woman was hit by a pick-up truck Wednesday evening.
A woman is recovering from head injuries after being hit by a pick-up truck that did not stay on the scene, the Washington Post reports.
Police told WTOP that the collision occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on University Boulevard East near the intersection of East Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring.
Officers are on the lookout for a black truck, although the radio station reports that more than one vehicle was involved in the crash.
