Early Voting Locations Announced: Silver Spring and Burtonsville

Where and when can you vote early in Silver Spring and Burtonsville?

It's not just President and First Lady Obama that are urging Americans to vote ahead of the Nov. 6 election. Right here in Montgomery, County Executive Isiah Leggett touted both the importance of voting and the ease of voting early.

"Voting is a fundamental right of every American," said Leggett. “In order to make the process run smoothly and efficiently, we have given voters opportunities to vote early to avoid election day lines, to vote by absentee ballot and to read and fill out a sample ballot prior to going to their polling place to make the process easier and quicker.

"I hope all our voters will take advantage of these opportunities to have a pleasant and easy voting experience," he finished.
