Parking Garage Entrance to Close in July

The exit will be closed for about 14 months.

Silver Spring residents and commuters parking in downtown will have to use an alternative exit for the Bonifant Avenue garage.

Starting around July 20, the Montgomery County Division of Parking will temporarily close the garage for construction, according to a press release. The construction will include an extension of Dixon Avenue though the garage. This extension requires levels G-2 in Garage 55 to be temporarily closed. However, levels 3 to 7 will remain open.
