Metrorail's White Flint station reopened about 11 a.m. after a person was struck by a train Monday morning.

The victim is an adult male, according to The Washington Post, quoting a Metro spokesman.

Delays continue as Red Line trains use a single track between Grosvenor and Twinbrook stations, according to Metro's website.

The White Flint station was temporarily closed after the incident.

Metro is addressing incidents of people intentionally jumping in front of trains through training for train operators and station managers, The Post reported.
