Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett announces his recommendation to close the $300 million gap for fiscal year (FY) 2012 that begins July 1. The budget maintains funding for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), increase in funding for Montgomery College, cuts costs in Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and more.
