Free Parenting Workshop: "Ten Reasons Children Don't Succeed....and Eleven Things Parents Can Do"

Parents of children of all ages can learn how to encourage children to become progressively more responsible, independent, respectful, and resilient as they grow toward adulthood.

Take part in interactive discussions drawing on the specific experiences of the participants and exercises intended to illustrate key principles. Learn how to apply logical consequences, encourage social responsibility, and how to use basic communications skills and family meetings as alternatives that will build a foundation of cooperation and mutual respect in the family.

The session leader is Stephen Daggett, a volunteer workshop leader with YMCA Youth and Family Services.
