Rev. Mark Kiyimba Speaks Out Against Uganda's Proposed "Kill the Gays" Law

Dear Neighbors:

Please join me Tuesday night at 7:30 at a presentation by Rev. Mark Kiyimba. He is a minister in Uganda who has risked his life by fighting new legislation that would make homosexuality a capital offense, punishable by death or life imprisonment (rather than the current penalty of up to 14 years in prison). His ministry in Kampala runs an orphanage for children who are HIV-positive, or who have lost their parents to AIDS.

Rev. Kiyimba will soon be returning to his homeland and possible arrest. On Tuesday, January 17th, he will be delivering a lecture and discussion at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring. You can get directions and more information at www.uucss.org
