Nineteen athletes at Northwood High School demonstrated their academic talents during the recently-completed spring sports season, by being recognized as Scholar Athletes at the Spring Sports Awards Night on Thursday, May 17 in the school auditorium.
There were also 108 varsity and junior varsity athletes who earned the "Minds in Motion Award" for achieving at least a 3.25 average during the third marking period at Northwood. The track and field team led the way with 26 recipients, followed by girls' lacrosse (24) and boys' lacrosse (22).
