Sligo Creek Golf Association's Fall Tournament!

More than 50 golfers participated in the Sligo Creek Golf Association’s fall fundraising tournament Oct. 4. Sponsors included The Daily Dish, Fenwick Beer and Wine, Rising Stars, the Woodside Forest Listserve, Lawyers Who Lunch, The Two Sisters Team at Evers & Co. Real Estate, and Tamara Kucik at Miller Realtors.

Since golfers, environmentalists and Silver Spring Civic leaders banded  together in 2009 to persuade the County Council to keep Sligo Creek Golf Course open this non-profit association has raised and spent more than $30,000 to improve the nine-hole golf course.
