The Haunted Garden located in a Silver Spring residential neighborhood will be open two nights this month, October 25 and 26.
Recently, the District Court granted the County's preliminary injunction on the grounds that the event was a public nuisance, but permitted the event to operate on two nights only, October 25 and 26, with the real estate company to obtain any needed permits and provide management of traffic, parking, and pedestrian safety at the real estate company's expense. Information on the County's case against Ms. Kerr and her real estate company can be reviewed at at http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/. The case number is 0601SP043932013.
