Is your home age-friendly?

Wednesday May 14th, 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Join the Silver Spring Village for this SPARKLE program at the Silver Spring Civic Building as we introduce seniors, friends and families to small and large changes homeowners can make to allow them to stay in their homes longer.  These changes can help avoid large expenses in a crisis and make a home more inviting for aging friends and family.
Montgomery County also offers a tax credit to help with the cost of these modifications.
The panel will include geriatric social worker Robin Mansfield, MSW, LGSW, Care Manager, Aging Network Services, as well as Stephen Hage of Strategies for Independent Living LLC, a contractor experienced in this type of remodeling. Panelists will explain the range of changes to consider, the tax credit, and examples of modifications other homeowners have made.  This event is open to the public.  RSVP by May 9; Call the Village at 301-503-7401
