Reinvent Your Press Release

One of the things I love about Hollywood and the good people of London is that they truly know how to put on a show.

Walking the red carpet is all about glamour and great hair, while in London the opening of Parliament ever year is about pagentry. I mean, have you seen the guy from the House of Lords (sort of like our U.S. Senate) make his way to the House of Commons (a lot like our House of Representatives) in all his finery, only to have the door slammed in his face – literally – in front of a cable audience tuning in from around the world? Like I said, brilliant.

Events – things that happen to us, or in our companies – or FOR our companies – we tend to want to talk about. We want everyone to know when that thing is happening and how important it is. Moreover, we want everyone to know how great WE are.
