Local High School Girls SAY YES TO THE PROM at Discovery Communications
Monte Durham, host of TLC's "Say Yes To The Dress" works with Silver Spring businesses and girls to prepare for prom season.
On April 10, Discovery Communications welcomed 34 high school girls from the local area for "SAY YES TO THE PROM."
The girls had the opportunity to work with Monte Durham, host of TLC's popular "SAY YES TO THE DRESS, ATLANTA," and personal shoppers to choose dresses and accessories, have their hair, make-up and nails done and practice dancing and walking the red carpet. More than 300 dresses for girls to choose from were donated by Discovery employees from across the country.
