Oh please. This mall is easily the biggest embarrassment of Silver Spring. Pretty much everything, from the shops, the design of the mall, and the decor.....just sucks.

With over 100 stores, restaurants and specialty services, City Place Mall is a vibrant and active retail destination in the heart of Silver Spring. The four-level shopping center is beautifully designed with rust- and slate-colored marble floors, lots of glass and brass, and windows at every turn. The mall offers staples like PNC Bank, Marshalls and Burlington Coat Factory, as well as specialty stores like Lakubo (women's clothing) and The African Hair Gallery. In addition to the numerous restaurants that are scattered throughout, a food court is located on the bottom level.

Please tell me this review is satire. City Place Mall sucks so bad its generally nicknamed "sh*tty place." Stores close right and left and I have never once felt safe inside this mall. The only thing its good for are extremely cheap prices on things you can't find anywhere else (like ancient cell phone accessories). Otherwise, it is a blackmark on Silver Spring.
