Called to fix a broken glass door. Said they would send me a quote and then we would decide if the work is to be done. In the mean time, we worked with another glass repair company to get the repair work done.

However, this crook sent someone to my store and had someone measure the work that needed to be done and told my employees that the work would not be done if he wasn't paid. My employee thought this was the company we had an agreement with.

An hour later, the company I contracted came by to fix our glass. We were surprised and called Miles Glass Co. They said that there is nothing that they can do. That there was a verbal agreement, which there never was. He refused to give me my money back.

We will be going to court. STAY AWAY

Make yourself a favor and stay away from this company. Last month I brought in my fire screen door; the tempered glass burst after direct exposure of flames. They called me to pick up the fire screen door fairly quickly, and at that time I didn’t see anything wrong with it. Yesterday I started to put everything back together, and I saw that the frame of the door was very crooked. Not only that, but they tried to mask it with a double sided tape. Seriously?! I went back and I asked if they can fix it. I talked with one of the technicians who told me that this is something that they see every time – a crocked door. He told me, basically, that I brought it in this way. I remember in what shape I brought the door in, but he tried to say that is my fault, and that I didn’t understand what I was saying. I can clearly see the marks where the frame was bent. The tech also acknowledged that they removed the hinges and replaced the rivets in order to put the new glass in, but he refused to acknowledge that they bent it. He offered to “try” to bend the frame back, but he couldn’t guarantee that this will work. I even understood that my explanations about the door were annoying them, judging by the expression and the sigh of one of the desk clerks. Worst customer service, and worst experience ever. They destroyed a perfectly fine door, which was part of a fire screen that was only a few years old and cost almost $400. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. DON’T GO THERE!
