String of White Oak Apartment Burglaries: East County Crime Roundup

Four different apartments, three in White Oak and one on Castle Boulevard were burgled in four-day period with two of the crime happening on the same day, according to a report from Montgomery County Police. On Sunday, Feb. 5, two purses were stolen from an apartment int he 11600 block of Lockwood Drive between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Police say the perpetrator entered through an unlocked sliding glass door. That same day, between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m., a laptop, video game system and a DVD player was stolen from an apartment in the 11700 block of Old Columbia Pike.
