Four male victims were robbed and assaulted near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Lockwood Drive in White Oak. Montgomery County Police are investigating whether the crimes are related, as they all have similar suspects and occurred within days of each other. The four reported robberies: Four males, thought to be teenagers, assaulted a juvenile male while he waited for the bus on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 3:10 p.m. in the 11400 block of Lockwood Drive in White Oak. The victim and his friends were approached by the robbers, who demanded their cell phones before pushing and shoving them. The suspects stole property and ran away. Police arrested a 41-year-old White Oak man last Saturday after finding him inside of the White Oak Sears at 7 a.m. Officers from Montgomery County Police’s 3rd District responded to the store’s alarm on Oct. 22 and noted signs of burglary, including a pried window. Police are investigating five robberies: Undisclosed property was stolen from a victim, gender not revealed, at 7-Eleven in Colesville on Friday, Oct. 14 between 12:45 a.m. and 1 a.m. Two men assaulted and robbed an adult male on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. The men approached the victim near the intersection of Columbia Pike and Stewart Lane in White Oak and stole his wallet before running away. Montgomery County Police released the latest list of crimes on Tuesday, Dec. 21. Reported crimes from the Ida sector of the 3rd District and the John sector of the 4th District were: Burtonsville Burglars attempted to take property from two homes in Burtonsville on Friday, Dec. 10. One burglary, located on the 15000 block of Blackburn Road, was thwarted, while a second, also in the 15000 block of Blackburn Road, was successful. It is unknown whether property was stolen. Calverton No crimes reported. Colesville, Cloverly and White Oak A home in the Meadowood section of Colesville was burgled on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 2:49 p.m. Entry into the home was not forced, but property was stolen. Montgomery County Police released its latest list of crimes on Wednesday, Dec. 1. Reported crimes from the Ida sector of the 3rd District and the John sector of the 4th District were: Burtonsville No reported crimes Calverton No reported crimes Colesville, Cloverly and White Oak Three homes in Colesville were burgled between Monday, Nov. 14 and Monday, Nov. 22. Entry was forced and property was stolen. The crimes took place on the 300 block of Soapstone Lane, the 14600 block of Jaystone Drive and 14800 block of Silverstone Drive.
