AFI Latin American Film Festival Begins Thursday
The film festival in Silver Spring takes place during Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Latin American Film Festival returns to the AFI Silver Theatre in downtown Silver Spring for its 23rd year. The festival, which runs from Sept. 20 to Nov. 8, showcases more than 50 films from Latin American countries (plus Spain and Portugal). General admission tickets are $12 each, but moviegoers also can buy festival passes. Additionally, a select number of films are only $5 each. See the festival program for a complete list of films.
