Update, May 3, 12:20 p.m. Montgomery County police are still searching for the man who sexually assaulted a 21-year-old postal employee in Silver Spring during her lunch break Thursday afternoon. The postal worker was walking in the neighborhood behind the U.S. Post Office located at 110 University Boulevard West in the Four Corners area of Silver Spring when the man approached her and showed a knife, police said. He forced her into the backyard of a nearby home, and after sexually assaulting her, fled from the area, police said in the statement. According to police, the suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-6-inches tall, with a medium build. He had gray and black facial hair and had several missing or broken teeth. No further …

Updated—meeting date changed: Montgomery County officials want public input on what to do with the activity building adjacent to North Four Corners Local Park in Silver Spring. The building closed in 2010 because it wasn't being used. Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is hosting a community meeting Jan. 16 to begin work on a plan for the building. Proposals for the use of the building are being accepted until tomorrow, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. A committee will review submitted proposals and evaluate based on four criteria: The North Four Corners Park Activity Building is a 2,000-square foot, one-story building. Folks who walk around the Four Corners area of Silver Spring: Montgomery County wants your attention. Soon, you'll see Ride On buses plastered with photos of the eyes of Montgomery Blair High students—yeah, just the eyes. And if that isn't enough to get your attention as you cross streets near the intersection of Colesville Road and University Boulevard, watch for $50 tickets to be given to drivers and pedestrians who don't follow the law. Four Corners was identified as hotbed for pedestrian collision in the county, according to a release from county government.
