In the olden days (pre-2009), you knew you were the ruler of neighborhood haunts when you walked into bars and everyone knew your name. Now, mapping social network foursquare makes that process easier: simply "check-in" when you patronize restaurants, stores or libraries and the person who visits the most is crowned the "mayor."
