Run This Town: Annabelle Dorion is the Queen of Noodle King

From local noodle joints to blood donation centers, Annabelle Dorion is a virtual leader on foursquare.

Run This Town: Toyshika Epps is Duchess of Dunkin Donuts

As the mayor of Colesville's Dunkin Donuts and quite a few other places, Toyshika Epps not only runs this town, but also gets free stuff.

In the olden days (pre-2009), you knew you were the ruler of neighborhood haunts when you walked into bars and everyone knew your name. Colesville Patch:  So I found that you are the mayor of Dunkin Donuts.  Do you know how long you've been the mayor there? Toyshika Epps: Yeah,  I got that one about three weeks ago. Colesville Patch:  OK, so you're a "new" mayor…

In the olden days (pre-2009), you knew you were the ruler of neighborhood haunts when you walked into bars and everyone knew your name. Now, mapping social network foursquare makes that process easier: simply "check-in" when you patronize restaurants, stores or libraries and the person who visits the most is crowned the "mayor."  Thien-Kim Lam dominates portions of East County as the foursquare mayor of White Oak Library and Target. She chatted with Patch about the rigors of the job. Colesville Patch: You're the mayor of White Oak Library. How long have you been the mayor there? Thien-Kim Lam: I want to say maybe in August I became the mayor of White Oak Library. Colesville Patch: Do you know how many times it took for you to check-in …
