Colesville Lions Club Hosts October Flea Markets

The Colesville Lions Club hosted the second of five planned October flea markets on Saturday, Oct. 9.

On a crisp and sunny Saturday, the Colesville Lions Club held their fifth flea market of the year at The Turf Center on Spencerville Road. Year in and year out, the Lions Club hosts flea markets each Saturday in both May and October, with proceeds benefitting the Club's community projects and activities. Since 1953, the Colesville Lions Club has been helping people in the local area. They are a part of a larger group boasting nearly 1.4 million members in 193 countries. Current Club president Emory Patton has been a Colesville Lion for nearly 40 years. "This community has been good to me, and I like to pay it back," Patton told Patch.
