Updated: What to Do With North Four Corners Activity Building?

County officials are soliciting bids for the use of a building that closed two years ago.

Updated—meeting date changed: Montgomery County officials want public input on what to do with the activity building adjacent to North Four Corners Local Park in Silver Spring. The building closed in 2010 because it wasn't being used. Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is hosting a community meeting Jan. 16 to begin work on a plan for the building. Proposals for the use of the building are being accepted until tomorrow, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. A committee will review submitted proposals and evaluate based on four criteria: The North Four Corners Park Activity Building is a 2,000-square foot, one-story building.
