Annapolis Man Charged with Fairland Home Burglary

A 42-year-old Annapolis man was charged with the July 4 burglary of a home in Fairland, according to online court documents.  The defendant forced entry into a home in the 3900 block of Greencastle Ridge Drive around 11:20 p.m. Thursday, July 4, according to Montgomery County Police. A spokesperson for the department said the man ransacked the home and left before police arrested him. The defendant knows the homeowner, according to police. Several other residential burglaries were reported in early July: -Cash was stolen from a vehicle inside a garage in Burtonsville on Monday, July 2. String of Burtonsville, Colesville Home Burglaries: East County Crime Roundup

Montgomery County Police are investigating a string of residential burglaries in Burtonsville, according to a crime summary from the department's 3rd District. Police Search for Three Stolen Vehicles: East County Crime Roundup

Three vehicles were stolen in East Montgomery late last month, according to a crime summary from Montgomery County Police’s 3rd District. Residential burglaries and armed robberies dominate the Montgomery County Police weekly major crimes summary for the downtown Silver Spring area. Crimes reported for the week of Mar. 26 to Apr. 3 are as follows: 8900 block of Brookville Road: A theft occurred on Saturday, Mar. 31 at approximately 4:30 a.m.  900 Block of Wayne Avenue: An armed robbery occurred on Saturday, Mar.31 at 3:45 a.m. There are three suspects: a black male, 5’5”- 5’7”, 130-150 lbs., age 18-20 with dreadlocks; a black male, age 18-20 and a black male, age 18-20. Woman Struck by Vehicle After Confronting Thief: East County Crime Summary

Montgomery County Police are looking for two women who stole another woman’s purse before hitting her with a vehicle. The women are thought to be between 50 and 60 years old and between 24 and 30 years old. (Detailed descriptions were not given to police.) The victim, an adult female, saw one of the suspects entering the passenger side window of her vehicle while it was parked at the WSSC Watershed, 2200 Ednor Road, on Saturday, March 17 around 12:45 p.m. The suspect took the victim’s purse from the car.  The victim approached the women after they’d entered their vehicle, police said. Teen Arrested for Stealing MP3 Player: East County Crime

Montgomery County Police arrested a 13-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy last week for the assault and robbery of another juvenile, according to a crime summary released by the department.  The victim told police that the boys grabbed him, assaulted him and stole his MP3 player in the 11400 block of New Hampshire Avenue in White Oak on Wednesday, March 14 at 8:30 a.m. The boy saw the suspects later in the evening and they were arrested. Safe Stolen from Fairland Church: East County Crime Roundup

Police report that one or more suspects pried open the front door to Iglesia Evangelica Church at 13250 Old Columbia Pike sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Friday, March 2 and 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 3. Rash of Neighborhood Robberies: East County Crime Roundup

A pizza delivery person was robbed last week, according to preliminary information received by Montgomery County Police. The crime occurred in the 13600 block of Colgate Way in the Briggs Chaney area on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 9:07 p.m. Police did not reveal further details, including what items were stolen. Robbers Take Boy's Shoes with Stun Gun: East County Crime Roundup

A group of three males are wanted by Montgomery County Police after reports that they stole a juvenile's boys shoes, money and cell phone, according to a recent crime summary. The boy reported that he was near the intersection of Meadow Hill Road and Lockwood Drive in White Oak on Friday, Feb. 10 around 11:45 p.m. The male suspects (detailed descriptions were not provided to police) threatened him with a stun gun and demanded the items from him. Knife Assault at Colesville GNC: East County Crime Roundup

Montgomery County Police are looking for the man who assaulted an adult female with a knife on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at GNC in Colesville.
